Description
DPLC is a power line carrier communication drive module. The DC power carrier signal receives through the power line which data transmit and receive by serial (UART) to peer devices. There are two kind of DPLC module, one is DPLC-L and another is DPLC-I. The specification of two kind module is different even there two kind of module price is also different.
Features

- Drive capability, the maximum can achieve more than 80 load bus communication.

Application
- A CPU and DPLC module is connected with serial port (TXD/RXD).
- 5V power supply provide to DPLC module.
- DC power and GND supply respectively, and module is connected using DC +, DC-pin.
- Increase the common mode inductance of about 1mH which effect to eliminate reliability.
- Recommended DC/DC power supply module.
- Common DC power bus is used.
- Interference effects on carrier communications.
Interface
In the structure of DPLC module, DC+ and DC- are available for 12~48VDC. Carrier transmission and receiver modules are integrated in DPLC board which are controlled by MCU. There is also used a regulator for the main operation purpose of controller and UART function.
